📚 A roundtable discussion on the theme "On the Path of Creation" was held at TSUE Student Dormitory No. 6
On May 15, 2026, the Department of Economic Statistics at the Faculty of Digital Economy and Information Technologies of Tashkent State University of Economics organized a roundtable discussion on the theme "On the Path of Creation" at TSUE Student Dormitory No. 6. The event was held in accordance with the faculty's plan for youth work and spiritual-educational activities. It was attended by students of all courses residing in the dormitory, professors and teachers of the department, representatives of the faculty dean's office, and the dormitory administration.
The main purpose of this roundtable discussion was to further enhance the knowledge and worldview of student youth, educate them in the spirit of creative ideas, discuss the importance of modern education in society and the active participation of young people in this process, as well as to meaningfully organize the leisure time of students living in the dormitory and involve them in social activities.
A special guest of the event was invited – Umarov Mukhtar Turaevich, Head of the Department for Developing Educational Programs and Educational-Methodological Support at the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research under the State Committee on Statistics. In his speech, the guest spoke in detail about modern trends in statistics, the development of the digital economy, the importance of analyzing statistical data, and the demand for qualified personnel in this field. He also made suggestions and recommendations on actively involving young people in research work, developing their professional skills, and improving their practical knowledge in statistical analysis.
During the roundtable, a lively and productive exchange of views took place on enhancing the knowledge and worldview of young people, creative ideas, and the importance of modern education. In particular, students asked many questions about modern educational technologies, digital transformation, innovative projects, new directions in statistics and economics, as well as the role of knowledge and skills in choosing a future profession. All questions received detailed, well-reasoned, and practically illustrated answers from the guest and department professors.
Another important aspect of the event was that students openly expressed their opinions about their future professional plans, scientific projects, and social initiatives. Students proposed ideas for supporting science and innovation in the dormitory, conducting statistical research, and organizing practical sessions on data analysis. Furthermore, the idea of establishing a "Statistical Club" at the student dormitory and holding regular seminars and trainings within it was strongly supported.
At the conclusion of the roundtable, the head of the department noted that such spiritual and educational meetings will be continued on a regular basis, and systematic work will be carried out to support students' scientific and social activities, expand their worldview, and develop their professional skills. The guest, Umarov Mukhtar Turaevich, encouraged students to actively participate in practical and scientific fields of statistics, attend advanced training courses, and make effective use of the opportunities offered by the institute.
At the end of the event, students expressed their gratitude to the guest and the department professors and teachers for the meaningful meeting. Participants noted that the roundtable was very interesting, inspiring, and useful for the future, and unanimously supported the continuation of such meetings.
This roundtable became one of the important educational events at TSUE Student Dormitory for educating young people in the spirit of creativity, patriotism, science, and innovation, enhancing their intellectual potential, and increasing their awareness of the opportunities of modern education.
